A couple of years back, I signed up to participate in the Bupa Great Manchester 10K Run. Successfully, I completed the run in just over an hour. It give me such a great feeling of euphoria having done my first ever distance run. Though my feet were absolutely killing me by the end of it.
I didn't raise any money from charity. It was something that I told close friends and family. I lacked confidence in my self belief that I could actually get this done. But, I proved to myself and others that I took the challenge by the bulls horns and went for it!
In essence of that good feeling, I have decided to take that same challenge again. This time, I will be raising money for a charity called Marys Meals
Please take the time out of have a look at the website by clicking on the link below. The amount of work they've done is amazing. Its a charity that my employer is supporting this year, so I will also been helping them to raise their overall total of funds to donate.
