Nivea Daily Essential Double Effect Eye Make Up Remover

I’ve been looking around for a good eye maker removed with a cheap price tag but had industrial strength. Well, maybe that is a slight over exaggeration but you get the point.

This product delivered just what I wanted.  For me, it’s shifts waterproof mascara, eye shadows and stubborn eyeliner that facial cleaners and water don’t remover on their own.  In the past, eyeliners were difficult to remove until I found this bad boy!

It claims that the product is gentle enough for contact lens wearers. I cannot really comment as I don’t wear them but I found that my eyes are not irritated nor sting after using this. This is a great bonus when my eyes are tired after a long day.

The only downfall is that it’s really oily, which is a given, considering it’s consistency. With that in mind it’s moisturizing and calming. I used a dry cotton pad to remove the excess oil off.

For £3.49, (125ml: standard size) it is a fantastic drugstore product that does the job effectively. Would recommend to all.

Review: Bourjois Regard Effet Metallise Eyeliner

In light of Bourjois celebrating 150 years of business, I was reminded of how much I love this brand.

These metallic eyeliners have been out on the market for some time now.  Last summer I bought one in Blue Clinquant 54 and loved it.  The pencils are intense with pigments and have packed with goodness. The formula includes jojoba oil extracts, Vitamin E and cottonseed oil – all suitable for people with sensitive eyes….like me!

I never gave it much credit until recently. As the warmer weather is slowly approaching, I decided to have a good look through what shades I have set aside from last year and came across this little beauty.  There are only 4 shades available from this range in brown, blue, green and navy.

I definitely rate this colour and am keen to try some more. It’s a gorgeous turquoise blue with a metallic effect.  It glides on smoothly, lasts all day and although it’s waterproof, it can be remove swiftly and easily.

It’s an affordable waterproof liner at £4.99 and is available in most drug stores that stock Bourjois

It's raining, it's pouring...

As the typical British weather continues (...that's the indecisive raining one minute than snowing the next in the middle of March kinda weather), I've been looking pretty summery but stylish, and pastel waterproof footwear for the 'warmer months' ahead. Am I thinking wishfully here? Yes, but...

...I came across these cute little ankle wellys on Ebay for a £14.  I WANT THEM NOW!! I'm definitely gonna purchase a pair of these little beauts on payday! These remind me of the Mel jelly shoes but probably slighly less in price.

P.S They also glow in the dark!  These will be useful for Autumn/ winter then.
